Equestrian marshal-in-charge

An equestrian marshal-in-charge is responsible for the following:

At least 45 days in advance

  1. Determine the suitability of the site for conducting equestrian activities.
  2. Notify the Kingdom Equestrian Officer of the intention to conduct equestrian activities at the event.
  3. Ensure that equestrian insurance coverage is activated. Equestrian insurance may be requested by the event steward or by the equestrian marshal-in-charge with the event steward's approval. Instructions are found at https://www.sca.org/resources/insurance/.
