Combat Archery Ammunition
- Increased PSI range for HDPE pipe APDs - June 2022
- The previous 100 and 125 PSI has been increased to 100-160 PSI
- Addition of Star blunts - June 2022
- Star blunts have been added to the list of approved commercially manufactured blunts.
- Restructured for improved numbering - January 2020
- This section has been restructured to allow for better numbering of paragraphs. The wiki to pdf process doesn't like too many layers.
- Siloflex removed - January 2020
- Siloflex is a brand name for a type of high density poly-ethylene pipe, so references have been changed to allow the use of other products that meet the specifications. The specifications have been updated to meet the new standards and resins used.
- Ammunition must be named, not initialed - January 2020
- A reminder that the owner's name needs to be displayed on ammunition, not just their initials.
- Use of more yellow now allowed - January 2020
- Previous rules said that no more than 10% of the surface could be coloured yellow. This requirement has been removed.
- Head padding must have progressive resistant give - January 2020
- Requirements for padding updated.
- Allowance made for additional approved manufactured heads, and process for experimentation. - January 2020
- This section has been structured to allow for additional manufactured heads to be available.
- Crutch tips suitable for use as combat archery ammunition heads - January 2020
- Following experimentation in Artemisia between 2012 and 2019, crutch tips were found to be suitable for use as combat archery ammunition heads. They were provisionally approved in February 2019.
- Change in PSI for heavy tubular shafts - January 2015
- The requirement for pressure rating for Siloflex equivalent shafts was changed from 100PSI to 100PSI or greater.
- Banning of One-Piece Baldar Blunts - 21 July 2008
- One-piece Baldar Blunts were banned from use on fiberglass shafts. This ruling does not affect the use of these blunts when attached to Siloflex tubing, in Kingdoms that allow it.
