<p>Approved by the Board of Directors 18 November 2025</p> <p><b>New page</b></p><div>==Warranted marshals==<br /> #A marshal that is warranted (or roster warranted) is an officer of the kingdom or Society.<br /> #Only warranted marshals that have passed a marshal&#039;s authorization are allowed to perform the following duties:<br /> #* Authorize people<br /> #* Perform armor and weapons inspections <br /> #* Give final approval of the suitability of weapons, armor, or equipment<br /> #* Serve as the marshal-in-charge of an event<br /> #* Serve as a marshal-at-large<br /> #* Serve as a local group marshal (e.g. &quot;Knight Marshals&quot;)<br /> #* Serve as Kingdom Great or Lesser Officers (Earl Marshal, Principality Earl Marshal, or a Deputy Marshal for a specific discipline).<br /> #To be a warranted marshal:<br /> ##You must be at least 16 years old.<br /> ###You must be at least the age of majority to be warranted as a group marshal, authorizing marshal or marshal-in-charge of an event.<br /> ## You must be a current paid member of the SCA Inc, or its affiliates.<br /> ## You must be an authorized marshal in the discipline you are being warranted for.<br /> ## You must show proof of being an authorized marshal to the lists officer or responsible marshal or marshal-in-charge, if requested.</div>
